We’re so glad you found us! Our windsurf station is located at one of the windiest spots in Cape Verde, on the beautiful island of São Vicente. Surrounded by stunning mountains that create a strong wind tunnel effect, the wind here blows with two Beauforts more than at other surf spots like Sal or Boa Vista. The combination of flat water and constant wind provides ideal conditions for windsurfers – perfect for making quick progress, practicing new maneuvers, and setting personal speed records.

Getting into the water is a breeze – the fine sandy beach is free of rocks, making it easy to access the water. Additionally, the entire 2-kilometer-long bay is a kite-free zone, so you can enjoy your sessions without any interruptions. Our Surftribe Station offers the perfect equipment to make the most of this windy surf spot. Our team provides exclusive service and is always there to assist you.

Our station is located in the Foya Branca Hotel, a comfortable four-star hotel with breathtaking sea views. In addition to windsurfing, you can enjoy a variety of activities such as the fitness room, tennis court, and diving station. A free shuttle service ensures your convenience.

Thanks to the mild Atlantic climate, you’ll experience perfect temperatures year-round – never too hot, never too cold. The water remains a pleasant 22°C, so you won’t need to worry about thick wetsuits. Plus, rain is a rare occurrence here.

São Vicente is still largely untouched by mass tourism. However, the harbor city of Mindelo, also known as the cultural capital of Cape Verde, offers plenty of entertainment and exciting experiences. Here, you can discover the authentic Cape Verde. The neighboring hiking island of São Antão is only an hour away by ferry and is waiting for you to explore.
